I have a Surface Pro 4 with the same case. I can tell you this is the best case I have ever tried for this device. The keyboard cover when closed acts as screen protection. It's very rugged and you can be sure that if you or your kids drop the device it's protected from damage. This case was originally designed to be used by schools to protect their equipment from accidents damage caused by the students and staff. If you love your Suface Pro 4 and plan on keeping it in great shape, this is a wonderful accessory and the best one in its class I might add. I paid $60 plus shipping and TAX when it first came out in the market and purchase 2 thinking it might not last me but I was wrong.
